Marshall Neuroscience, in partnership with the Epilepsy Foundation of America and Anchors of Hope for Epilepsy, has scheduled the 2nd annual Epilepsy Awareness Walk for 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 5, at Ritter Park.
Epilepsy is a central nervous system disorder that affects about 2.5 to 3 million people in the United States.
In addition to the walk, the event will feature an artisan market including woodworking, leather, photography and embroidery vendors, among others. “Batman” will make a special appearance.
Both the walk and symposium are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available.
