Meet Ayonna!
Ayonna Helm is a Senior at Marshall University, majoring in Health Science. Ayonna joined the Marshall Online Team as a Student Worker in fall of 2022. Ayonna assists with the team with a wide variety of task from benchmarking, research and assisting with student engagement initiatives.

I’m a Senior majoring in Health Science.
How long have you worked with Marshall Online?
Since fall 2022.
What is your favorite part of working with the Marshall Online Team?
Being able to expand my skillset and connect with a different part of the Marshall family.
How have you grown professionally while on our team?
My problem solving and my communication skills have improved since working with the team.
What might surprise us about you?
I love antique shopping with my best friend.
What is your favorite part about Marshall University?
The great amount of resources available so that we can further our success on campus.
What are your future plans for after you leave Marshall? If no plans yet, what would be your dream plan?
My plan is to apply to Graduate School to further my education and pursue a career in the medical field.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
I wanted to be a fire fighter because I really liked the red trucks and the sound of their horn.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family.
