Where you’re from: Virginia
What inspired you to pursue your degree with Marshall Online? I work full-time with the Supreme Court and Marshall Online gives me the flexibility to get my degree without quitting my job.
How do you stay motivated while studying online? My husband. He keeps me motivated and encourages me to pursue my dreams.
What do you enjoy most about being an online student? Online is just easier for me, with having a family and a job.
What’s one thing you hope to achieve by the end of your program? Keep my GPA up and keep striving for my goal.
What tools or resources have been most helpful to you as an online student? There are so many resources out there for online students. My last degree I had classes with the same people and we developed a friendship and a study group. We created a TEAMs room just for us to study together, which was great.
Share any advice you would give to someone new to online learning. Don’t stress but stay on task. Learn how to manage your time.
What are you hoping to accomplish as a council member? Hopefully, give new students who have never done online classes some pointers if needed.
