The Regents Bachelor of Arts (RBA) is a non-traditional, interdisciplinary degree option designed to help adult students just like you earn a bachelor’s degree.
The RBA degree caters to working adults by providing a cost-effective, online program that lets students customize their education to match their interests.
- Find out which of our academic programs is right for you.
- Meet some of our current students and hear about their favorite Marshall moments.
- Receive invitations to special events for future students.
- Get help with the application and enrollment process.
The RBA program offers an academic forgiveness policy, where failing grades received four or more years prior to admission do not impact the student’s final grade point average, providing a fresh start for students returning to education
Take advantage of College Equivalent Credits (CEC), which are awarded for certain kinds of training, learning experiences, certificates and licenses. This includes credits for military training.
An area of emphasis enables RBA students to choose a specific academic focus as part of the RBA degree completion program. Choose your focus in areas of emphasis in computer science, creative writing and art, humanities, social science, or education.
The Regents Bachelor of Arts degree is a general studies bachelor’s degree, which provides a sound foundation to pursue many career paths. RBA graduates also choose to go on to professional schools, law school and graduate school at a variety of institutions, including Marshall University.
