No problem! Marshall Online has a number of degree programs for remote learners. We also have a program specifically designed for returning students!

Marshall Online Degree Programs

Marshall Regents Bachelor of Arts 

There are many ways to pay for your degree. If you enroll part-time, you may be eligible to participate in The Higher Education Adult Part-time Student Program (HEAPS). If you enroll full-time, you may be eligible for the WV Higher Education Grant.

You should also complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to see if you can receive help from the federal government. To find out more about financial aid, check out the Financial Aid page.

You may want to also check for employer contribution/incentive programs your company might offer.

Limited scholarships may be available for students participating in the Back to Marshall program. Contact us here to learn more.

If you haven’t taken classes at Marshall for more than one calendar year, you will need to reapply but there is no additional application cost. You can do that here.

Yes! We have dedicated Student Engagement staff to help you every step of the way. Start by filling out this basic info and we will review your student file and get in touch with you to help you come back to Marshall.

Marshall University offers a variety of online degree programs.

Yes. Once submitted your advisor can assist in evaluating coursework from other institutions. More information is available here.

Yes. See this link for information about academic forgiveness at Marshall. Your advisor will be able to help you navigate this process.

You will have an option to do this on the readmission application which can be found at www.marshall.edu/admissions/undergraduate/readmitted.

Yes! It’s called the Regents Bachelor of Arts which is a non-traditional, interdisciplinary degree option designed to help adult students just like you earn a bachelor’s degree.

The RBA degree caters to working adults by providing a cost-effective, online program that lets students customize their education to match their interests.
