Online learning at Marshall University offers all-online undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificate programs.

The program serves to educate criminal justice professionals and prepare students for further advanced graduate work, legal studies, and scholarship. The Master of Science program in Criminal Justice is taught entirely online with a minimum of four synchronous sessions a semester per course. Unlike other online programs, where students have no direct interaction with faculty and peers, here students have the opportunity to interact in a virtual setting in each course, but maintain the flexibility of never having to come to campus.

Our graduates are successfully employed in a number of criminal justice occupations and related fields at the local, county, state, and federal levels, including the Cabell County adult probation, the Cabell County drug court, the WV National Guard, the Department of Justice, the WV DHHR, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, CONTACT Rape Crisis Center, and the West Virginia State Police, just to name a few.
