EdD Candidates in Curriculum & Instruction can earn an Education Specialist (EdS) degree in Curriculum & Instruction. The 30 hours of courses required for the Ed. can all be applied to the EdD. Dually enrolled candidates apply to graduate with the EdS upon completion of core and research courses, before writing the dissertation.
In addition to traditional education roles, graduates can work in training and development in the corporate or nonprofit sectors. Our focus on research, collaboration and scholarship helps prepare our graduates for academic and consulting positions.
