The Bachelors of Arts (BA) degree in Geography is for students interested in the spatial and human dimensions of places, cities, and regions.
Students will explore concepts and issues related to population dynamics and migration, world cultures, political systems, economic development, transportation systems, connectivity and accessibility, development, urban planning, and land use.
Both the BA and the BS degree prepare our graduates for professional employment or a graduate degree.

Our BA and BS degrees use technologies such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS).

Marshall University accepts transfer credits from accredited institutions of higher education and we have several 2+2 agreements with community colleges.
