“During my fourth year of pharmacy school, my APPEs helped prepare me to be a successful pharmacist. I gained experiences from various health systems that I was able to utilize on other rotations, which ultimately aided in creating my own style of practice that prioritizes patient care. Some highlights of the past year include managing medication regimens under protocol of a collaborative practice agreement, sitting-in on a successful coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), and presenting research at ASHP Midyear in Anaheim, California. As for the future of my career, I am beyond grateful to have matched with the Hershel “Woody” Williams VA Medical Center and will be completing a PGY-1 Residency at their facility! I will continue to hone my clinical skills over the next year while at my residency so that I can provide the best care possible to all patients!”
