Admission Requirements for the Accelerated Graduate Degree (AGD) in Physics
No GRE is required for admission to the AGD program. To qualify, students must:
- Complete at least 18 credit hours of Physics courses toward their B.S.
- Achieve Junior standing (60 credit hours) with a minimum 3.30 GPA overall and in the major.
- Maintain a 3.00 GPA to stay in the program, consistent with the regular Master’s program requirements.
Prospective students are strongly encouraged to meet with a Physics Department advisor to carefully plan their schedules and ensure they are ready to begin the program by their Junior year.
