Biography
Jerry Ross was named to his position in July 2023.
He leads and directs the university’s enrollment management efforts, which include student success, financial aid, admissions and recruitment.
He came to Marshall with nearly 20 years of experience in enrollment management, having worked at various institutions, including Purdue University, Syracuse University, the University of Florida, West Virginia University and Southern Miss.
He most recently served as the associate vice president for enrollment management at California State University, Chico. At CSU Chico, his leadership was instrumental in modernizing enrollment management and increasing enrollment while building strategic enrollment management plans.
