Biography

Lieutenant Colonel Chad Peltier is from Stillwater, Minnesota and is a 2016 Distinguished Graduate of the United States Naval War College, where he received a Master of Arts Degree in Defense and Strategic Studies.

Lieutenant Colonel Peltier enlisted in 1991 as an army medic, and in 2005 attended Officer Candidate School and was commissioned an Infantry Second Lieutenant. Lieutenant Colonel Peltier’s assignments include Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington; Sinai Egypt; Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Soto Cano, Honduras; Fort Johnson, Louisiana; Fort Sam Houston, Texas; Fort Moore, Georgia; Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska; Wiesbaden, Germany; Vicenza, Italy; Fort Knox, Kentucky; Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island; Fort Wainwright, Alaska; and Fort Shafter, Hawaii.

Lieutenant Colonel Peltier currently serves as the Department Chair and Professor of Military Science at Marshall University’s Army ROTC “Thundering Herd” Battalion.
