A proxy can be defined as a person who represents someone else.
In this case, the person a student identifies as a proxy will have access to the academic records that the student specifies in our proxy system.
This person will receive an email which will allow them to set up their own account to track the student’s records, and they can speak with a representative of the university about the student as long as they have a passphrase (established by the student and shared with the proxy).
Students can change/delete a proxy at any time.
Cost of Attendance
The Office of Student Financial Assistance determines student financial aid eligibility by subtracting the Student Aid Index (SAI) and Other Financial Assistance (OFA) from the Cost of Attendance (COA). The information reported on the student’s FAFSA is used in a formula established by the U.S. Congress, which determines your SAI. The COA that your financial aid package is based upon reflects standard and reasonable costs.
For actual tuition, fee, residence halls, and meal plan charges, please visit the Bursar’s website. Please note that all students are allotted living expenses and transportation. If students are living off-campus or with parents, Marshall University does not charge you for these costs but they are listed as part of your COA so families can budget accordingly.
Students can view their estimated financial aid COA by accessing the Cost of Attendance through the Financial Aid portal within myMU. However, to review actual Marshall University charges students must login to the student account center.
