Biography

Dr. Archey is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) dedicated to the transformative field of social work. She began her educational journey with a bachelor’s degree in social work and biblical studies from Kentucky Christian University. She then completed a master’s program at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, specializing in administration and community practice.
Driven by a desire for continuous professional and intellectual growth, Dr. Archey earned a doctorate in social work from the University of Kentucky, focusing on clinical practice. This advanced education has equipped her with the expertise to make significant contributions to the field.
Currently, Dr. Archey serves as an Assistant Professor in the social work department at Marshall University. In this role, she has the opportunity to invest in the next generation of social workers, nurturing their abilities and honing their skills. She believes in empowering others to drive change within themselves and their communities, we can foster change in the world.
