The Marshall University SRSP (study and research for suicide prevention) lab provides information, support and training while engaging in research in the prevention of suicide.
Training
Trainings include QPR, Mental Health First Aid, SAFE talk and TMBI (teachable moments brief intervention). Some trainings are available for community members as well as some specific for those with master’s degrees in social work, counseling and psychology.
Research Internships
Paid internships for research are available to BSW and MSW students – determined by funding availability.
