Biography
Robin, originally from Ironton, Ohio, came to Marshall University for a variety of reasons: location, affordability and because it is a family thing. Four other members of her family have attended Marshall. While here, Robin obtained her Bachelor’s in Counseling, as well as her Master’s in Counseling with a dual focus on agency counseling as well as student affairs.
Robin spent a number of years in the workforce in the Huntington area working at agencies such as Prestera Center and Green Acres Regional Center. While at these agencies, she worked in every area from a direct care worker to human resources, but she always maintained her connection to Marshall through the years volunteering as an advisor for various campus organizations. Her most recent work experience before returning to Marshall was working with students at Ashland Community and Technical College as an advisor. Robin is extremely excited to be able to return home to Marshall as an advisor and to continue her work with students in University College.
