About It’s On Us
It’s On Us is a national campaign, founded in September 2014, as an initiative of the Obama-Biden White House. The program launched following recommendations from the White House Task Force to Prevent Sexual Assault that noted the importance of calling everyone into the conversation on sexual assault prevention.
The mission of It’s On Us is to combat college sexual assault by engaging young men and changing campus culture. The campaign achieves it’s mission by teaching prevention education, training the next generation of student organizers, and disseminating large-scale creative campaigns.
It’s On Us prevention education work is focused on three key areas: bystander intervention, consent education, and survivor support.
