This virtual distance learning program is offered fully online, with both synchronous and asynchronous coursework and serves the professional needs and interests of individuals working in, or interested in, P -12 education, teacher education, higher education, and more.

Collaborate with faculty and peers during synchronous virtual class meetings that offer the convenience of joining from any location. Meetings generally occur on Tuesday evenings from 5 – 8 p.m. EST.

Candidates in this online program benefit from distance learning tuition and fees, with no additional costs for out-of-state students.
Ed.D. students can earn an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Curriculum & Instruction. Dually enrolled students may apply to graduate with the Ed.S. upon completion of core and research courses, before writing the dissertation.
Engage in scholarly and professional experiences such as co-presenting at conferences, co-authoring publications, co-teaching, co-developing courses, and more. These experiences fulfill program portfolio requirements while also providing marketable experiences to enhance your curriculum vita.
