HUNTINGTON, WEST VIRGINIA –This year’s Car Bash will take place on Thursday, October 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Buskirk Field.
WMUL-FM has secured a Buick Park Avenue for the 14th annual Car Bash. For this year’s Homecoming celebration, the Buick will be painted in North Texas’ school colors.
Students can pay $1 to ravage the Buick with a sledgehammer for 2 minutes.
Due to the Marshall University Homecoming Parade being moved to Thursday evening, the event has been shortened 1 hour from the originally advertised end time of 3 p.m. This is to allow WMUL-FM time to prepare the car to be featured in the parade.
