Football Has Returned to Huntington

Share

Football is back in Huntington on Saturday as Marshall faces off against Stony Brook and The Cutting Edge Sports Radio Network will be your place for another season of award-winning broadcasts.

Ben Cower will serve as Play-by-Play commentator, Sports Director Sean Kelly will be Color Commentator and Nate Courtney will be acting as Spotter.

Kelly said getting to call Division 1 College Football was something he could do only because of WMUL-FM.

“There aren’t really a lot of college radio stations in the country where you really have the ability to do that, especially in an actual booth in a professional setting,” he said. “Having the opportunity to do that and be involved with football broadcasts since freshman year and now leading other people into the same thing, its a unique opportunity for all of us.”

The day’s coverage kicks off at 4:00 p.m., with The Cutting Edge Sports Pregame Show, where the crew will recap last season, give you information about Marshall Sports and give you all the information that you need. Make sure you tune in because the program will also include a special by Ben Anderson recapping the career of Louisiana Tech broadcaster and Milton, West Virginia native Dave Nitz.

Make sure to stick around after the game for the WMUL Postgame Show, where they will break down the key moments of the game.
