Biography
Johnathan “Jeddy” Edwards is a recent grad of the School of Journalism with a degree in Sports Journalism. He enjoys traveling for concerts, amusement parks, and sporting events. In the last year alone, he got to be on the call for over 30 Marshall sporting events by being a part of the sports staff. In his spare time, whenever he does have it, he loves spending time with his friends and family. He was a part of the crew that won half a dozen awards for one broadcast, it was Marshall men’s basketball vs North Texas in early 2021. It was his first time producing, and the wonderful on-air talent made his job easy.
Station Stuff
Programs: He’s appeared on shows like Sportsbuzz (now Buzzer Beater), Sportsview, and Herd Roundup. He recently launched Herd Rewind, check it out! He has also been on air and behind the board for Newscenter 88 a handful of times.
Favorite Station Memory: Getting to call the SBC title for Men’s Soccer or March Madness for WBB at VT

Favorite Game Called: It’s a tough one, but for play-by-play it would have to be baseball senior day. Marshall lost, but it was also his final game with the station and he got to call it with my best friend. As for color commentary, it’s a tie between men’s soccer beating WVU in the SBC Championship or opening day at Jack Cook Field.
