The beginning of the fall semester is right around the corner, and that means that it is time for activities around WMUL-FM to get back into full swing. That can’t happen without a group of dedicated and hard-working volunteers.
To find those volunteers, WMUL-FM will be present during Week of Welcome, August 18-22, hoping to show incoming freshmen the benefits of being involved in college radio. In addition to Week of Welcome, WMUL-FM hopes to visit over 100 classes across many colleges on campus, with the hope of finding a diverse group of volunteers who can bring their own unique talents and abilities into the Communications Building.
WMUL-FM spent a week in White Sulphur Springs, WV covering the PGA Tour’s Greenbrier Classic. Below is an article by Paul Sebert for The Herald-Dispatch about the station’s coverage of the tournament.
